As a valued member of Heartland Area Federal Credit Union, you have an opportunity to lighten your financial load. With our Skip-a-Payment Promotion, you can choose to skip one loan payment each year, at a time that works best for you!
How it works:
- Pick your month – skip one loan payment per year anytime between January 1 and December 31.
- You must complete and submit a Skip-a- Payment Coupon prior to your loan payment due date.
- Pick up a coupon (REQUIRED) at the credit union.
- Eligible members can choose to skip one loan payment per year.
- May be done twice.
- This offer applies to each qualifying loan you have with us.
There is a $35.00 administration fee per loan. Excludes mortgage, home equity, insurance, one-pay, credit card and leased loans.
Keep in Mind:
- Most loan types are eligible for this promotion.
- Skip-a-Payment is subject to approval and certain conditions apply.
- Interest will continue to accrue on your loan during the skipped month.
- Skipping a payment may extend the term of your loan.
